Warehousing

Storage in Benchmark’s 250,000 square foot warehouse is completely secure and is controlled via our Access Supply Chain integrated Warehouse Management System. All stock location & movement is supported by our wireless infrastructure and all stock is tracked throughout its lifetime within our premises.

This service is further enhanced by the wide range of storage capabilities, all of which can be adapted and modified to meet individual client needs.

The company has over 30,000 pallet spaces available that can be used for racked or bulk pallet storage.

Stock

All stock is maintained by computer control, meaning it can be located efficiently for picking and audit checks.

Security

All warehouse facilities are manned 24 hours a day, seven days a week by a team of internal security guards, are continually monitored via CCTV and are fitted with alarm systems linked to the local police authority through an industry-standard, BT Redcare installation.

Transit

We offer same-day or overnight parcel & pallet deliveries allowing clients to select the most appropriate method based on cost, geography, timescales and volumetric weight.

• The same-day service is available for anything from a small van to an articulated vehicle. Special handling and two-man delivery can also be provided.
• Overnight – the UK and Mainland Europe. These parcel services are available from 9am to close of business next working day.
• Pallets – UK and Worldwide. Together with our Logistics partners within the Gordon Leslie Group and the Palletline network, Benchmark offers the widest range of despatch solutions.
